For experienced riders 12 years and up, we offer riding packages that include a three-day stay at the hotel and a four-day riding schedule. We use Icelandic horses and emphasize this breed’s special gaits, especially tølt. After long days on horseback you come back to the refreshing pool, tasty food and good conversation with other horse-lovers.

RIDING PACKAGES, day to day
There are two riding packages a week: Monday- Thursday and Thursday- Sunday.

Day one: Arrival
Gathering at 15.00 outside the stables
Theory lesson featuring the Icelandic horses and their gaits.
One hour lesson in the arena, where every one gets individual attention from the instructor.
3- course dinner at the hotel
Gathering after dinner. Lecture and movie about the Icelandic horse.

Day two: riding
• Early ride, home to a great lunch at Dalseter.
• After noon ride.
• Gathering after dinner, those who wish can help with the evening chores in the barn.

Day three: Long ride
• We start after breakfast and ride up through an incredible mountain terrain with en fantastic view over Jotunheimen. We ride up over Skarvanden at 1400 m.a.s and down through Hestådalen on the backside of the Ruten massive. - We eat our lunch by Bingsbu and rest a little before returning home to Dalseter in good time for dinner.

Day four: Departure
