SNAPSRØDS JESSICA
-our grand old lady of a whopping 23 years. Jessica is a dun fjordhorse that came to Dalseter in 1994. She has had several fine foals during her life: Kopstad Dokka and Kopstad Kari was born before she come to Dalseter.
Since then she has added to the list with: Gråma, Solsikke, Saffi, Bingsblakken, Dalseters Turil and Dalseters Bendik. Jessica is a great personality and is used for riding as well as driving, but out of respect for her old age, we limit her workload.
DALSETERS TURIL
- daughter of Jessica was born in 2003. A beautiful fjordhorse, and is used for riding as well as driving. She has a childish personality - and is also up for some fun.
FRÖYA FROM KVERNES
- is a black Icelandic horse lady born in Norway in 1991. Like most Icelandic horses she shows tølt, the gait that is unique for that breed. Frøya is a fun and expressive horse – and with her funny antics she can melt the heart of anyone. Frøya is only used for riding by appointment with her owner.
EDALL FRÁ HOFSTADASELI
- is a red Icelandic gelding born in 1997. Edall came to Norway from Iceland in 2003 and after moving about the country for a while, he ended up at Dalseter in August 2005. In addition to tølt, Edall also shows flying pace. Edall is happy with his group of ladies, and is an alert and friendly horse that is used for riding year round. He likes to run, however, and can be hard to hold out on the trail. Because of this he is only for the experienced rider.
